• based in many countries worldwide;
• invited to write by the Editors, on the advice of the international Advisory Editorial Board or volunteer to write (contact The Editors).

Volunteering to write for the journal?

Please contact The Editors stating:

1. the suggested title of the article;
2. why it is important and interesting for the journal's broad audience (i.e. the practical and clinical implications);
3. briefly, why you are appropriate to write it.

If your idea is accepted, and a similar article has not already been commissioned, we will send you a copy of our 'Instructions to authors' (or download 70-KB PDF version), and will agree a submission date with you for the first draft.

The authoring/editing process:

1. Author(s) send a first draft to the Editorial Office;
2. Editor(s) make suggestions and the article is peer refereed;
3. Author(s) revise the manuscript and re-submit;
4. Editor(s) edit the manuscript into house-style;
5. Author(s) check final proofs before publication.
